Frightened Rabbit return to Seattle this Friday / photo by Morgen Schuler

With the KEXP Spring Fundraising Drive now over (and thank you to everyone who pledged a gift of support), it’s time to get down to some live music in Seattle. This week, things start with a couple nice little shows at Easy Street Records in West Seattle with Pickwick on Monday night, and The Cave Singers on Tuesday  night. Looking for other options on Tuesday night? There’s also a SXSW Send Off Show with Lemolo, OC Notes, Spac3man, and Seacats at Neumos. Passion Pit, Matt & Kim, and Icona Pop are at Paramount Theatre, The Pharmacy, Pony Time, and Stickers are at Chop Suey, Caspian, Native, and You May Die in the Desert are at Barboza, and Rhett Miller and Shelby Earl are at Triple Door. On Wednesday night, the mighty Morrissey is at Moore Theatre, G. Love & Special Sauce and John Fullbright are at Showbox at the Market, and Electric Six, Gabriel the Marine, and Fox & The Law are at Neumos. Don’t Talk to the Cops, Everybody Weekend, and Punishment are at Heartland, and Cotton Jones, Tiny Messengers, and Thee Midnight Creep are at Tractor Tavern. On Thursday night, Thao & The Get Down Stay Down and Sallie Ford & The Sound Outside are at Neumos, Benoit Pioulard, Tiny Vipers, and Ghosts I’ve Met are at Columbia City Theater, Richard Buckner is at Tractor Tavern, and Mason Jennings is at the Triple Door. Friday is the best night of the week for a great show with great choices like Helms Alee, Sandrider, and Lowmen Markos at Columbia City Theater, Frightened Rabbit and Twilight Sad at Showbox at the Market, Nacho Picasso, Jarv Dee, Moor Gang, Key Nyata, and Keyboard Kid at Neumos, Hillstomp, Hobosexual, and Country Lips at Tractor Tavern, and Autre Ne Veut and Majical Cloudz at Barboza. The weekend slows down with Emancipator, ODESZA, and Little People at Neumos, and Red Jacket Mine, The Great Um, and Julia Massey at Barboza on Saturday night, and Trust, ERAAS, and Nightmare Fortress at Barboza on Sunday night.
